I've chosen this sentence from my fellow citizen Michelangelo because it kind of explains what data analysis is for me: collecting, cleaning, analyzing data is like taking a piece of raw material and being able to make something beautiful out of it.

As it happens in life, I discovered data analysis by chance and it was love at first sight.

I decided to dive deeper into the topic with the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate and I realized that data analysis is what perfectly combines curiosity, a scientific approach, logic and presentation skills, which is great for someone who studied physics and has been a teacher for few years.

I was born and raised in Florence, Italy, and here I followed my passion for science in university.

I adore to explore new things, from different foods (I like pineapple on pizza but let's keep it a secret 🤫) to new places to go on vacation. Despite I'm used to spend time on my own, I enjoy meeting new people and make friends along the way.

I'm also a very active person, I love to go to the gym, hiking, running and I recently fell in love with surfing! Is it possible to resist to the call of the ocean?

I proudly walked the Camino de Santiago and it was absolutely one of the best experiences of my life.

My passions also include music (I'd like to say I remember how to play the piano or the guitar but it'd sound like a lie), reading, from detective stories to the big classics, and having fun in the kitchen cooking for my friends.

In the next future I'd like to add climbing and watercolor painting to the list.

Last but not least I care a lot about nature and the environment, I believe there's no future if we don't take care of our planet.
